It's a small offering, but it's in the spirit of the club and indeed the Dream Fans project to help where we can. In return you are getting 3 simple yet important things: a CD single of high quality complete with artwork, all lovingly produced by hand. You are playing a part in spreading the word about just how good a club Southampton is to be a part of. Most importantly, you are helping others who really need your help. But it's time I stopped stated the obvious.

The enchanced cd requires a PC system to be able to play the videos, as these will not work through other systems like cd, dvd players etc but the audio tracks will play in every player.

Above, Southampton F.C.'s Jason Dodd and Matt Oakley proudly holding a copy of the CD, as presented to them by Javi in Jan 2005.

I once met a blue, with nothing to do
We chatted 'bout our teams to say who's worst and who's best
So i talked even clearer, 'bout Keegan and Shearer
Then mentioned Matt Le Tiss (as if you'd never have guessed)
Never have guessed...

I encountered a Manc, was built like a tank
Said we ain't a hope in hell this year with players like ours
So I talked to him gentle, increasingly mental
And preached about our awesome squad for hours an' hours
Hours an' hours

And as St. Mary's comes alight....

We're takin' over the world, bit by bit
The football world, in our red-white kit
Forget your Johan Cruyff's and your Georgie Best's
You don't need golden balls when you've Southampton on your chest
We got the world, by the scruff of the neck
The football world, and we don't give a heck
Forget your Arsene Wenger, your Anfield tie
Who needs the Stretford End when you're a saint until u die

When I'm feeling dejected, my thoughts all reflected
I find my mind go back to all the good times we had
While the others start bitchin', I look to the Itchen
I know this place I come from is like heaven above
Heaven above

And you're damaged and torn, by a season forlorn
The whistle blows, a groundsman mows, and chants fill the air
Success is figment of a sick blueish pigment
But rivalry's healthy coz we'll beat you next year
Beat you next year

And as Saint Mary's comes alight...

We love the 1, 2, 3, 4 River Itchen
We love Le God, love the squad, and all the others who pitch in..
